🧘‍♀️🌿 Yoga Day Celebration at Mukti

Move with purpose. Breathe with intention. Live with balance.

Yoga Day was celebrated across Mukti’s various projects and communities, bringing together students, community members, Swastha Shonginis, teachers, and volunteers in a shared commitment to wellness, mindfulness, and healthy living.

At the Mukti Urban Project, community members participated enthusiastically in yoga sessions, embracing practices that promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner peace. Mukti’s Health Team and Swastha Shonginis also joined hands with local communities to spread awareness about the importance of incorporating yoga into everyday life for a healthier future.

The celebration was further strengthened through the successful completion of a 14-day Yoga Practice Programme across 76 Mukti Support Schools (MSS) in seven districts of West Bengal. Students actively engaged in breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, mindfulness activities, and guided reflection sessions that helped improve concentration, self-confidence, discipline, emotional well-being, and positive social values.

From urban communities to remote villages of the Sundarbans and other rural regions of West Bengal, the spirit of yoga united people across ages and backgrounds, reinforcing the importance of balance, resilience, and holistic well-being.

Through every breath, every movement, and every moment of mindfulness, Mukti continues to inspire healthier lifestyles and stronger communities.

✨ Yoga for Wellness, Wisdom & Peace.

🌿 Health Check-up Camp | MUKTI Urban Project Office | 20 June 2026 🌿

Good health is the foundation of a stronger community.

MUKTI, in collaboration with Neotia Bhagirathi Women & Child Care Centre, successfully organized a Health Check-up Camp at the MUKTI Urban Project Office, benefiting 102 community members from Jorasanko.

The camp provided doctor consultations, basic health screenings, essential medicines, and valuable health awareness support, helping beneficiaries take an important step towards better well-being.

A special thanks to Sonamon Basu, Health Manager, MUKTI, for facilitating the initiative and establishing the vital healthcare linkage that made this camp possible.

The overwhelming participation and positive response from beneficiaries reaffirm the need for accessible, community-based healthcare services and inspire us to continue creating meaningful impact.

💙 Together, let’s build healthier communities and brighter futures.

🌍✨ Celebrating World Environment Day 2026 ✨🌍

Students from 76 Mukti Support School (MSS) centres across seven districts of West Bengal came together to celebrate World Environment Day with enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to protecting our planet.

Guided by the specially designed MSS Environment Day Handbook, students actively participated in cleanliness drives, plastic-free campus campaigns, water conservation activities, tree care initiatives, bird feeder preparation using local materials, and organic compost pit creation. These simple yet impactful actions encouraged hands-on learning and environmental responsibility.

Through teamwork, practical engagement, and community participation, our young learners demonstrated that meaningful change begins with small steps. Their dedication reflects MSS’s commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens who will help build a greener and more sustainable future.

🌱 Together, we learn. Together, we act. Together, we protect our Earth.

From learning in classrooms to serving communities, our MUKTI SURYA Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students are turning their dreams into reality!

Coming from economically challenged rural families, these dedicated young professionals have successfully secured positions in nursing homes at Raidighi and Krishnachandrapur. Equipped with industry-relevant skills and hands-on training, they are now supporting doctors and nurses, caring for patients, and making a meaningful impact on community healthcare.

Beyond building successful careers, they are also contributing to their families’ financial well-being and inspiring other rural youth to pursue vocational education.

Their journey is a testament to how skill-based training can create opportunities, transform lives, and strengthen communities.

We are immensely proud of their achievements and wish them continued success in their professional journeys. Their gratitude towards SURYA MUKTI reflects the importance of guidance, training, and support in shaping a brighter future.

Together, we are nurturing skilled healthcare professionals and creating healthier, stronger communities.
