"Community based Simulation Games to Drive lasting Social and Behavioural Change"

Over the years of working in community health & nutrition, CINI has recognized that adopting new behaviour is often one of the greatest challenges for communities. Deeply rooted cultural beliefs and traditional practices often make it difficult for people to change harmful behaviours through awareness sessions alone.
To address this, CINI implements interactive simulation games as a strategic Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) approach to promote positive behavioural changes within communities. By engaging in these games and taking a break from their busy daily routines, community members connect with the learning process in an enjoyable and relatable way, making it easier for them to absorb key messages.
From pregnant women and adolescents to frontline workers, SBCC games bring diverse groups together and foster participation more effectively. These games are now being rolled out across CINI intervention areas in multiple states and projects-creating accountability and fostering convergence for sustainable outcomes.
