🛑 Pahalgam Terrorist Attack — Who Is Accountable?
We are deeply saddened and outraged by the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. This senseless violence must be unequivocally condemned — and it is being condemned by Indian Muslims across the world. We have always stood against extremism, terrorism, and any force that uses Islam as a cover to spread hate.
But the question remains: Who is accountable?
This question must be asked — directly to the Honourable Home Minister and the Prime Minister of India. What are the security lapses? Who allowed this to happen on our soil? Who will be held responsible?
Because one thing is clear: Blaming the entire Muslim community every time a fanatic commits a crime is not only unfair — it is unjust, divisive, and dangerous.
We, as Indian Muslims, have never vouched for extremism or supported any foreign terrorist outfit. Instead, we’ve always been the first to distance ourselves from such ideologies. Yet, what do we get in return?
We face relentless hate, discrimination, lynchings, and bulldozing of our homes — not once or twice, but throughout the year. More than 100 Muslims have been lynched in the last few years just for being identified as Muslim. And yet, hardly anyone from the other side speaks up for us.
It’s as if our blood doesn’t matter. As if our pain doesn’t deserve a voice.
This double standard is not just painful — it’s exhausting. It’s deeply disheartening.
But what if the roles were reversed?
What if we judged others by the same standard — expecting the same outrage and accountability every time Indian Muslims were attacked? And not by terrorists, but by the very system many of you proudly voted for?
Would you have an answer then?
I doubt it.
And that’s what hurts the most.
