Storytelling in the early years plays a vital role in shaping a child’s learning and overall development.
Recently, MWC Trust conducted a teacher training program on “The Magic of Stories” at Prayas NGO, Faridabad.
The session focused on how storytelling can enhance language development, imagination, attention, and emotional understanding in young children.
Stories help children make sense of the world around them in a meaningful and engaging way.
They support early literacy, strengthen listening skills, and encourage creative expression.
A few weeks after the training, we received a heartwarming follow-up video from the teachers.
The video beautifully showcased how they are implementing storytelling techniques in their classrooms.
Seeing teachers confidently use stories as an effective teaching tool reflects the true impact of the training.
When educators are empowered, classrooms become more inclusive, engaging, and joyful spaces.
In the early years, stories are not just entertainment—they form the foundation for lifelong learning.
This is where learning truly begins: through connection, creativity, and care. 🌈📚
