Multilogue Collective

Multilogue Collective We, at the Multilogue Collective, aim to engage our communities in a discourse, which has to be initiated owing to the dire need for community action.

Multilogue Collective is an independent and non-partisan non-profit organization that aims to sensitize communities towards urbanism—the characteristic way of how our cities are planned and made to function. We are a group of motivated students and professionals with the intent to acknowledge and address the merits and challenges of the current patterns of urban growth.

Urban Dialogue Initiative

In this article, Aaishwarya Jain and Madhulikaa A.S explore the degree of inclusivity/ perspective towards wildlife in the urban environment. It attempts to take the reader through the ways wildlife currently engages with our cities and reflect on their stature in society. Expanding upon the lens of ecological urbanism, the article suggests methods for urban designers and planners to envision an environment that encompasses nature completely and not just from an anthropocentric view.

MLC Urban Dialogue Initiative

In the last decade, suburban cities have experienced peculiar residential growth, emerging as the most preferred micro-market for real estate development. The fast-developing housing complexes/townships have increased the growth of gated public parks changing its very essence and conduct of public spaces in the city.

Anushka Shahdadpuri investigates new land-intensive forms of urbanism such as gated housing communities, office campuses, malls, and leisure spaces that promote a general culture of consumerism and privatization along with a corresponding rise in conflicts for everyday public spaces.

We are very happy to inform you all that our discussions with shop keepers regarding the improvement of Markets(No.1 & 2) have been fruitful. Both our elected representatives, Shri. Bharadwaj,MLA (https://youtu.be/u5GwAhC5fqc) and Shri. Subhash Bhadana, Councilor (https://youtu.be/54NwCCYe_64) have shown full support to improve the condition of markets, the streets around them, and adjoining public spaces.

Both the dialogues at the Markets of C.R. Park have been very successful with everyone's participation. This has opened up a channel for dialogue with shopkeepers. It is worth noticing that shopkeepers at both the markets just needed someone to start this dialogue. We hope to continue this fruitful engagement.
Stay tuned for more updates.
