After giving nearly 50 years service to Comhaltas starting with being involved with many Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Listowel
today I step away from a position I enjoyed in Dúchas Comhaltas Centre. Being involved since it was open, I have so many fabulous memories. Introducing Gradam awards night, Prizewinners concert, recording a CD and being involved in other events. I have made wonderful friends while I was there.
I would like to thank all the branches, the parents, the musicians, Singers, dancers and every single artist who were so helpful and cooperating when they were asked to perform. I would like to sincerely thank Tony O Connor Tadhg Creedon and the Dúchas committee for their support and vision they showed. To everyone in the MTU who I had dealings with, a fabulous bunch of people. To all the clients Clarissa The Academy Of Dance, Mary O Mahony Sean Hanafin, Ann McAuliffe, Helena, Cór Seoda and many many others who I dealt with each week over the years. Last but certainly not least Hazel in the Kerry Sports Academy together with Susan Bernadette Ziggy John and Michael, working together with people like this was a joy and made my job so much easier.
