Thank to all at Radio Kerry for the coverage of our Irish Red Cross Tralee Awards night.👏

Over 60 members of the Irish Red Cross from Kerry were recognised at an awards ceremony last night.

What a night we had last night 🥳at the Irish Red Cross branch Awards📜 night in the Grand Hotel where the Minister for Children, Diversity and Equality, Norma Foley - TD presented various awards to our volunteer members.
Over 60 current and previous members received awards for Youth activities, Safeguarding AwarenessTraining, First Aid Responder, Emergency First Responder, Trainer, Tutor, Therapeutic Hand Care, and for service during the Covid 19 Pandemic.🎖
Refreshments were provided afterwards and a great time was had by all.
How fitting it is to be posting this today on as the voluntary work by all who were honoured last night was clearly evident.
Huge thanks to all involved in organising the night and to the Youth Leaders, and Instructors on the various courses.
We will post more photos of some of those honoured in the coming days so keep an eye out for someone you may know.

It was a 5.30am start this morning for our Irish Red Cross crews who were providing First Aid and Ambulance cover at the Lost Sheep Middle Distance Triathlon in South Kerry today.
Thanks to our colleagues from Irish Red Cross Bantry Branch, support members and our volunteers.
Needless to report that no sheep were lost or harmed during the event😀 and all of our members have been sheparded safely home to enjoy a lie in tomorrow morning😴

It's been a very busy time for everyone at the 🌹 this week, and we want to send out our thanks to all the Irish Red Cross branch members who were involved in our annual church gate collection in Tralee, Fenit and Churchill this weekend.
We managed to snap this quartet of volunteer members who were collecting outside St John's Parish, Tralee while the annual Rose of Tralee mass was in progress.
We had a wonderful response from the public to our endeavours and we are eternally grateful for this. 👏

We snapped Lynda, Ciara, Tadgh and Luke of our collection team for the Irish Red Cross Tralee branch annual church gate collection outside St John's Parish, Tralee this morning as the Rose of Tralee International Festival 🌹 Mass was held in the church.
We had collections in , Fenit and Churchill, and we received a great response from the public there, for which we are very grateful.
Huge thanks also to all of our volunteer collectors who covered the three locations and gave up their free time to help us over the weekend 👏
