Recovery Haven Kerry – Cancer Support House will deliver caring and therapeutic services to those who
have experienced cancer, their families and carers in a tranquil and relaxing environment and to the highest standard. RELAX
Call in, have a chat with one of our trained volunteers, enjoy a cuppa or simply chill out. REFRESH
Avail of our therapy services, which are offered by appointment only. These are free of charge to our visitors. INFORM
Browse our library which has a wide range of relevant and practical information or simply unwind with a good book. We will also liaise with the relevant agencies with regard to providing information eg Citizens Information, Irish Cancer Society etc. GARDEN
Besides being a haven, for relaxing and escaping in, this is also a place to potter. SUPPORT GROUPS & INFORMATION EVENINGS
We have a variety of groups that give you an opportunity to share your experience. Support groups are professionally led by a qualified nurse/facilitator and aim to give support, practical information & reassurance. Gynaecological Cancer Support Group meet 2nd Monday of every month at 8pm. Walking Group – Every Tuesday @ 10.30am
Information Evenings for men and Women – throughout the year, please contact us for more details. THERAPIES
The therapies are all provided by qualified accredited practitioners. At present these include, Reiki, Massage, Reflexology, Beautician. CLASSES
Art therapy, Tai-Chi & Meditation, Yoga, Mindfulness based stress reduction. OTHER SPECIALITY SERVICES INCLUDE:
Wig Fitting Service – of which there is a refundable charge in most cases. Children and adolescents support services. Outreach Community Talks
