'Home is Where The Heart Is', is an outdoor exhibition showcasing belonging, memory, identity, community, comfort, and the emotional landscapes we associate with the idea of home.
Bringing art into shared public spaces, the exhibition invites audiences to reflect on the emotional landscapes that shape our sense of homeโ€”whether rooted in people, places, traditions, or personal experiences. Through diverse artistic perspectives, it celebrates the stories, relationships, and memories that help us feel grounded, connected, and at ease in the world.

Our Zoomer members spent this evening making colourful calming bottles ๐Ÿ’œ
The room was filled with excitement as everyone got creative, choosing colours, glitter, and decorations to make their bottles unique. Calming bottles can help promote relaxation, encourage mindfulness, and provide a soothing sensory experience. Most importantly, they were great fun to make, and everyone was proud to take home their own creation! โœจ

โ€˜Not Enough Timeโ€™ Aimee Ryan
This striking- mixed media painting captures the overwhelming reality of a mother stretched across time, responsibilities, and relentless urgency. Representing months blurring together under the weight of constant demands where every moment is accounted for, yet never enough.
โ€˜Flight Riskโ€™ Marissa N. Hayes
This deeply personal painting portrays the emotional reality of a mother navigating the constant tension between protection and love for her flight-risk child. This painting is a powerful contrast between confinement and freedom, fear and love, ultimately suggesting that even within guarded spaces, human connection and care can shine through. While the world may require constant vigilance and control, her child remains a bright, irreplaceable lightโ€”bringing joy, love, and purpose even within the confines of constant protection.
Two works that were displayed during our Showcase last week. ' Existing in the world around us'
