Heritage Week Tipperary.
Roscrea Women's Shed is showing 2 films produced locally by Meriem Mamutova and Liz McQuaid on Thursday 20th August at 7pm. The first film on the evening covers the history of the local Sacred Heart Convent, it's dereliction and renovation in recent years to become a home for Ukranian Refugees.
There will be a short interval and then we will show the film "Time on Our Hands", an oral history interview with Rose Marie Doyle who taught in the Sacred Heart Convent until1999.
