Comhaltas offers a number of awards to recognise individuals within branches and communities who have given exceptional service to the promotion of Comhaltas and Irish culture.🎶

At a special event held on Friday, 15th May, a number of Gradam Seirbhíse awards were presented to stalwarts of our branch, community and county in recognition of their unwavering commitment to volunteerism and cultural life.☘️🎻🎶

The day of our sponsored community walk is almost upon us. On Bank holiday Monday, May 4th at 11am we will join together on a community walk from Ballyskenagh pitch, through the monastery and back again. Afterwards there will be refreshments, games for the kids, Ice creams, music and a few surprises. All members of the community are invited to join us.

📣 First public meeting of a new women's group for Roscrea 📣
"Roscrea Women’s Shed is a safe and welcoming place for women and friends of all ages. Connect, create and support the lovely ladies of the community"

Come along on Thursday evening for our first public meeting and become a member of Roscrea Women’s Shed! Membership will cost €20 per year and can be paid by cash or cheque. *Please note that members must be 18 or over.

Membership fees will cover the overall running costs of the Women’s Shed to ensure that the women in our community can avail of activities, support and much more.

While you do not necessarily need to be a paid member to attend events at the Women’s Shed, only paid members will have first refusal to classes with limited spaces. Paid members will have the right to vote throughout the year. Paid members will also have access to WhatsApp updates.

We are looking forward to meeting all the lovely ladies of our community! Spread the word and let’s make Roscrea Women’s Shed a place of belonging and enjoyment✨
