Thank you to Mike and everyone who helped organise the Table Quiz in the Spotted Dog and to everyone who took part. It was a great night. We very much appreciate the funds raised which will be put towards our running costs, maintenance of our building and equipment and training our Volunteers. Thank you everyone for your support ❤️

An early start for members of our Search & Rescue team this morning as they made the journey to Lough Ennell in Co.Westmeath to assist with the ongoing multi-agency search for a missing person.

The search has now entered its eighth day, with emergency services and voluntary search and rescue teams coming together from across the country to support the operation.

Our crew will be working alongside the other teams on the water today as the search continues.

Our thoughts are with the missing person’s family and friends, and with everyone involved in the search

Limerick Marine Search And Rescue Service is comprised of highly dedicated and committed local volunteers who give their free time to helping those in difficulty in our rivers and lakes.
Our primary purpose is to respond to Search And Rescue mission taskings from the Irish Coast Guard and Munster Regional fire control centre.

We will be recruiting in the near future -
> VOLUNTEER Coxwains/Boat crew
full training provided
> VOLUNTEER Divers
must have PADI open water cert or equivalent
The ideal candidate,
1. Aged over 21.
2. Living or working locally.
3. Competent Swimmer.
4. Pass Rescue Service Medical.
5. Clean Driving license.
6. Keen to learn new skills
7. Enjoy Working in a team.
All Applicants will be required to complete an interview
