Let’s say you want to visit Cliffs of Moher, - it’s just 80 km (1 hour journey) from Limerick to the north-west of Ireland and another day you would like to visit Cork - you come back for a night to Limerick and next day in the morning you go to Cork which is 100 km to the south from Limerick and you can come back to your base in Limerick for the evening. Limerick is just 25km (17 min by dual carriageway) from International Airport in Shannon.
