Paul Byrom is an acclaimed Irish tenor and former principal soloist with the international phenomenon Celtic Thunder. A Dublin native, he has performed for world leaders including President Barack Obama and Japan’s Emperor Akihito. Known for his powerful crossover style, Byrom has achieved Billboard chart success, toured internationally, and earned recognition as one of Ireland’s leading vocal performers.

Cois Nore Choir is a vibrant Kilkenny community choir of more than 60 members, bringing people together through music, friendship and wellbeing. They perform regularly across the southeast.

Tenor, Paul Byrom, is headlining an electrifying evening of song and storytelling.

The event, hosted by Grow Mental Health, also features the very popular Cois Nore Choir, and local Grow spokesperson Leonard Kelly has called on the wider community to support the concert.

“This promises to be a wonderful occasion, with all proceeds going to Grow Mental Health, ensure our life-changing support free community support remains available to anyone who needs it. At the heart of Grow Mental Health is the sharing of our stories, our journeys, and our lived experience. Let's share in song together on what promises to be a memorable occasion.

“We have chosen October 10th because it is World Mental Health Day. We need to address now, more than ever the challenges people face every day as well as the mental health supports that are available for anyone who is struggling and feeling alone in that struggle”, he added.

It's TRASNA today and our 8 teams (40 runners) are about to set off.
They will set off from Spanish Arch in Galway making their way across the country through day and night. Arriving to the finish line on the Clontarf Promenade on Sunday the 23rd. Depending on weather conditions and speed we are expecting them in between 8am and 2pm.

All participants will have a live tracker so we can all check their location, and we are urging our community to come out and cheer them on along the route.

They have already raised €32K and are still giving the event an unmighty push to smash their target of €35K.

This isn’t just a run. It’s a journey through day & night to reflect the silent struggle so many face with their mental health. Each person will run beyond a marathon distance. Together, we’ll cross Ireland - from Galway to Dublin - 232km. If you can spare anything - a donation, a share, a conversation - it helps more than you know.
