Group Camp pt2
Sunday morning saw us up early to have breakfast & break camp and get ready to go home. Not before some craic in the forest.
We also had our Beaver Investiture along with the section swim ups. It's always great to do these on camp.
Sunday was also our awards day. 4 of our Scouters awarded service awards Claire fom Cubs 20 years. Paul from Beavers 15 years Jen from Beavers 10 years & Shane again from Beavers 5 years. Thank you all for your service & dedication 💪
Our Cub of the year award was presented to Jack. He was a very worthy recipient throughout the year showing everything that is needed to be a great cub Scout
Our Scout Pink Panther Patrol were awarded their Silver badges achieving this grade at the Phoenix Challenge Well done 👏
Thanks again to everyone who supported our camp as well as throughout the Scout year.

Group Camp 2026
Friday night in the wind & rain saw our Group camp for 2026 kick off in Castleconnell Campsite Sharing with our good friends .pauls_scouts_limerick Our Beavers , Cubs, Scouts & Ventures were out in force. A little rain and wind couldn't stop us. Once tents were done and everyone settled it was supper time before heading off to bed. Eventually everyone went off and the night did include an impromptu singing competition at 3.30am
It was up early Saturday for breakfast and thankfully weather cleared up in time to start our skills bases organised by our Venture crew learning new skills. After lunch it was a hike for the younger ones and backwoods practice for the Scouts. After dinner and a few games it was time for the combined campfire where some classics were belted out before smores and off to bed.
