LYS' Youth Diversion Project engages with and supports young people who are involved in or at risk of becoming involved in anti social behaviour and crime.

Limerick Youth Service's Youth Diversion Project engages with young people who are involved in or at risk of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour & crime. Our Youth Diversion Project works in partnership with the Irish Youth Justice Service, An Garda Síochána and is part supported by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund. Our Youth Diversion Project are located in Ballynanty, Iri

shtown and the King’s Island areas of Limerick City, with our outreach team engaging with young people in the Limerick City Centre (Henry St) & Castleconnell Garda area. As part of the YDP, a young person can take part in a diverse array of programmes such as: animal safety, civic pride, healthy eating, drug & alcohol awareness, sport fitness & more. A Summertime Cycle through Ballyhoura!

Young people with our across our Youth Diversion Project joined theirs peers from the East Limerick Youth Project to take part in a Health & Fitness Prog with Limerick Sports Partnership

As part of the programme, the boys enjoyed a summer cycle through the excellent Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trail

It's all part of the summer season with Limerick Youth Service

Ballynanty Teens Honoured at Garda Youth Awards! 🚨

A group of boys with the Ballynanty hub of Limerick Youth Service Youth Diversion Project* were presented with a Garda Youth Award by An Garda Síochána at the Woodlands Hotel, Adare, Limerick.

The Garda Youth Award was presented to the quintet in recognition of their work on raising awareness of substance misuse in their community.👏🏾

Young people with our Henry St Outreach and Irishtown hubs enjoyed a few laps of the National Kart Centre, Limerick.

The trip was all part of the winter season with Limerick Youth Service.
