Trim climate Action are screening a thought-provoking film followed by a chat about the climate emergency.
Social tipping points are hard to see… until they happen.
Based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster, London this eye-opening 50-minute documentary brings together nine leading scientists and experts, with contributions from Chris Packham and a range of voices.
While the film originated in the UK, its message applies equally here in Ireland. Climate change does not recognise borders, and both the challenges and solutions are shared.

Admission is free but places must be booked through the Swift Cultural centre website.

Meath Partnership has commissioned a Social Enterprise Mapping and Strategy Study for County Meath, funded through the LEADER programme.

🌱 WE’RE HIRING! | LEADER PROJECTS OFFICER

Are you passionate about rural development, community development and making a real difference in County Meath?

Meath Partnership is looking for a LEADER Projects Officer to join our Rural Development team and help deliver the LEADER Programme 2023–2027 across County Meath.

This is a varied role where you’ll work with community groups, enterprises and local stakeholders, helping them turn ideas into viable projects and supporting them through the LEADER funding process.

The role includes:
🌱 Supporting community and enterprise projects
🤝 Working with local communities and stakeholders
📋 Assessing funding applications and project proposals
🏡 Supporting rural development initiatives across Meath
📣 Community engagement, outreach and information sessions
📊 Programme administration, monitoring and compliance

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, an interest in rural/community development, and the ability to manage a busy workload while working with a wide range of people.

📍 Based: Kells, Co. Meath
💻 Hybrid working & flexi-time available
🕐 Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
📅 12-month fixed-term contract
💶 Salary: €38,500 – €42,069.99
