📯Project Update: Speak 4 Unity

Last week along with participants & workers at Kells Youthreach Centre of Education had the chance the opportunity to test out the Speak 4 Unity project toolkit. The group put into action the various practical tools, games and fresh resources designed for youth workers who are ready to challenge hate speech with courage, creativity and care. It was fantastic to see the toolkit being tested and to show the benefits it has for this sector. thanks to Everyone Kells Youthreach Centre of Education and to Linda, (Integration Community Link Worker) from Meath Volunteer Centre

Speak for Unity is a European project that empowers young people to combat hate speech and promote social inclusion to follow this project and access the toolkit check out the project website: https://speak4unity.eu/

Tech Timeout & Connection for the Bank Holiday weekend☀️

Digital Wellbeing For Families (Digital Upbringing Project)
Sometimes the most powerful digital wellbeing tool is… switching off.!
A short, shared break from screens can change how families connect.
🩷No notifications.
💛No scrolling.
🧡Just conversation.
When families create small, regular tech-free moments, something shifts.
🩵People listen more.
💜Share more.
💛Understand each other better.
It doesn’t have to be perfect,
🩷Start with 15 minutes.
🩵One question at the table.
🧡One walk without phones.

Connection doesn’t compete with technology.
It just needs space.🥰

💛 What’s one small way your family creates screen-free time together?

What happens when you stop being a number on a list and become a voice that matters?

As the Transform Erasmus + Project comes to a close we are reflecting on the knowledge we gathered , one interesting area we have found is that safe spaces transform lives.

Through our storytelling workshops in Spain, Ireland and 4 other European countries, migrants and students at risk of exclusion have gone from silence to empowerment.

🔹We don't just share stories; we rebuild identities and visibility. Inclusive education is not an ideal, it's an urgent necessity in an increasingly diverse Europe.

🔹Expert facilitators have led this change, demonstrating that when a student feels their story matters, their future begins to matter too.

🔹What if the classroom wasn't just a place to learn, but a sanctuary where every voice matters? 🌍✨

Comment with a "❤️" if you believe empathy should be a core subject across Europe. Share so more educators can join the movement!

Building Bridges

Progress - sometimes it's a series of brave small steps 👣

For families navigating integration, moments that might seem ordinary to others can represent enormous courage: making a phone call in a new language, attending a community event alone, or asking for help at their child's school.

As practitioners, we have the privilege of witnessing and honoring these victories. When we pause to celebrate small wins, we help families see their own resilience and capability.🫶

What small wins have you celebrated with the families you support?

How do you help parents recognize their own progress?
