We’ve always tried to approach these conversations openly and honestly at home.

The more we normalise difference, the less shame it carries, and the easier it becomes for children to understand themselves with confidence and compassion.

I also appreciate that every family will approach these conversations differently, based on what works well for their family and their child. 🩷
