The crew from RehabCare Casla Resource Centre recently set off on a brilliant adventure to the Cliffs of Moher, with 3 staff and 7 members of the service making the journey from Connemara. For some, it was their very first time seeing the iconic cliffs. The Atlantic was in full dramatic form, the views stretched endlessly, and everyone soaked up the magic of one of Ireland’s most breath-taking landmarks.
After a day of fresh air and unforgettable scenery, the group made their way to Lahinch for an overnight glamping stay. The cosy pods and relaxed seaside atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for winding down. The evening was topped off with a trip to the local pub, where pints, lively trad music, and plenty of laughs kept spirits high, well into the night.
The next morning, the adventure continued with a ferry crossing from Killimer to Tarbert, a fun change of pace and a lovely way to take in even more coastal views. On the journey home, the group stopped at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, adding a dash of history and aviation wonder to round out the trip.
From stunning cliffs to glamping pods, trad tunes to ferry rides, the getaway was packed with moments that brought everyone closer together. The group returned home smiling, refreshed, and already chatting about where the next adventure might take them.
