We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and hands-on Seasonal Events Co-ordinator to join our team for our busy Christmas event.
📅 When: Mid-November to 23 December 2026
📍 Where: Birr Castle Demesne, Co. Offaly
About the Role
Working as part of our team, you will play an important role in preparing for and co-ordinating our Christmas event, helping to create a memorable festive experience for our visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
🎄 Assisting with event set-up, decorations and preparations.
🎄 Co-ordinating day-to-day event activities, and helping everything run smoothly.
🎄 Supporting staff and ensuring the event is ready for visitors each day.
🎄 Helping to maintain a welcoming, organised, and safe environment.
🎄 Assisting with visitor queries and providing excellent customer service.
🎄 Responding positively to the unexpected and helping the team manage busy periods.
Skills and Experience
✔️ Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
✔️ A confident communicator with strong people skills.
✔️ Practical, proactive and willing to take a hands-on approach to the role.
✔️ Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team, while managing competing priorities.
✔️ Experience in events or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
✔️ Flexibility is essential: This is a busy seasonal event, so the role requires availability across weekdays, weekends, and some evenings during the run-up to Christmas.
