🎣 FRIENDS OF LOCH AN DOCHAIS
ANNUAL ALL-IRELAND TROUT ANGLING COMPETITION
A Great Day for All! 🎣

Last Sunday's fishing competition in Lough Boora was a fantastic success, with a great turnout. The event was enjoyed by everyone who took part, with anglers of all ages enjoying the friendly competition, beautiful surroundings, and great community spirit.

Following the competition, participants and supporters gathered at the Community Centre for the presentation of awards. Congratulations to all the prize winners and a sincere thank you to everyone who helped organise and support the event.

It was wonderful to see so many people come together for a day of fishing, friendship, and fun. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next competition!

Come along to the Community Centre every Wednesday morning at 11 am and take part in the Chair Yoga. People are seeing results just after the first few classes! Everyone is welcome. Tomorrow, class will take place in the Craft Room (side room)

Over the next few weeks, our town will be welcoming a number of judging visits for various competitions and awards. While Kilcormac always looks fantastic, now is the perfect time for all of us to make that little extra effort to help our community shine! ✨🏡

🚮 Pick up a few pieces of litter on your walk.
🌺 Plant a few extra flowers or tidy up your garden frontage.
🎨 Give that gate, fence, wall, or planter a fresh coat of paint.
🧹 Sweep outside your home or business.
🌿 Tidy those weeds that have been meaning to get your attention!

The truth is, when everyone does a little, together we achieve a lot. It doesn't take much to make a huge difference, and every small action helps create a town we can all be proud of. 💪💚

Kilcormac has always had a wonderful community spirit, and it's that spirit that has helped us achieve so much over the years. Let's pull together once again and show visitors, judges, and ourselves just how much pride we take in our town. 🌟

The Active Age ladies enjoyed a lovely morning playing bowls in the community garden here in Kilcormac. There was plenty of fun, laughter, and friendly chat, followed by a well-earned cuppa together afterwards. A wonderful way to spend the morning in great company. Thank you ladies! #
