We’re pleased to announce the addition of two new evidence-based publications to the Karen Leung Foundation Knowledge Hub:

HPV detection in clinician-collected and self-collected vaginal, urine and menstrual blood samples

Detection of high-risk HPV in self-collected urine samples

These publications contribute to a deeper understanding of accessible HPV screening options and support continued efforts to raise awareness, promote early detection and advance cervical cancer prevention.

The Karen Leung Foundation is offering a **FREE urine-based cervical screening programme**. The screening is simple, private, non-invasive, and designed to make cervical health screening more comfortable and convenient.

Available dates:
Sundays: 5, 12 & 19 July 2026
11:30am – 2:30pm
Karen Leung Foundation Office
25/F, LHT Tower, 31 Queen’s Road Central

This programme is open to women aged 26–65 who have ever had s*x and meet the eligibility criteria.

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and first-come, first-served.

Cervical cancer is highly preventable, and regular screening is an important step in early prevention.

Karen Leung Foundation is supporting a free urine-based cervical cancer screening opportunity in partnership with HKU, offering eligible women a simple, private and convenient way to learn more about their cervical health.

The process takes around 10–15 minutes. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cervical screening is available during the Sunday sessions on 5, 12 and 19 July.
