We are delighted to share that The 86th Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 15th March, 2026 (Sunday). As the first Project of our year, this milestone event marked the formal introduction of the new Cabinet to External Entities and celebrated the Society’s remarkable 86-year history.

The Theme “Forging Foundations, Framing the Future” highlights the new Cabinet’s enthusiasm, unity, and commitment to serving Members with clear goals. The Swan symbolizes the journey from humble, unseen growth to graceful excellence—mirroring the Cabinet’s dedication to building with integrity, embracing hard work, and striving for higher impact. The Cabinet pledges to work diligently, offer high-quality service, and proactively listen to Members to boost satisfaction.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the Honorable Guests, Sponsors, and Supporting Parties who helped make the Ceremony memorable. Your involvement and encouragement reinforce our shared mission to shine brighter.

Guided by our motto, "Commitment to Excellence," we are dedicated to organizing a variety of events that benefit our Members and students. Ultimately, we strive to encourage our Members to become future business leaders by igniting their passion for economics and finance, enhancing their business skills, and providing insights into their career paths.

The 84th Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 25th February, 2024 (Sunday). It is the first Project of the year. The Project aims to mark the commencement of the new Cabinet and to introduce the new Cabinet to External Entities officially. This also marks the continuity of the Society, stepping into its 84th year.

This year, the Theme of the ceremony is "Determined to Rise, Aspired to Shine", which encapsulates the unwavering resolve and ambitious aspirations within everyone. It signifies the inner strength and resilience to overcome challenges and adversities, rising above them with determination. It embodies the deep desire to make a meaningful impact, to pursue personal growth, and to strive for excellence. With unwavering dedication and a burning passion, one endeavour to shine brightly, illuminating the path with their unique talents and contributions. It is a call to embrace one's potential, to push boundaries, and to leave a legacy of accomplishment and inspiration.

Our Theme Object, the Butterfly, symbolizes the aspiration to shine brightly, to stand out, and to make a positive impact, which echoes with our Theme "Determined to Rise, Aspired to Shine" as we will stand by our slogan this year in order to inherit the Society’s professional and prestigious image. The Theme designates the current Cabinet to organize marvelous and unrivaled activities for our Members with grandness. In the coming year, we will work as a unit and further develop the reputation of our Society.

The 83rd Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 25th February, 2023 (Saturday). It is the first Project of the year. This year, the Theme of the ceremony is “Passing the Torch, Synergizing for a Better Future”. The Ceremony marks the commencement of the current Cabinet and the legacy of the Society. The Theme places emphasis on the enthusiasm and unity of the current Cabinet. It implies our passion of organizing events to our Members with a clear goal. The current Cabinet will work as one and strive for the best to meet our goals.

Our Theme Object, The Dolphins, symbolize hope, guidance, intelligence and perseverance. Dolphins are social creatures, and they live in packs with strong social bonds, which echoes with our Theme, “Synergizing for a Better Future” as we cooperate with one another and thrive as a close community. The theme designates the current Cabinet will make strenuous effort to serve Members. We will unite as one to organise Projects and Functions, and provide novel experience to our Members. We would hone ourselves to provide high quality service to Members. We promise to listen and respond to our Members’ demand proactively in order to heighten their satisfaction. We hope our Members would revel in the Projects and Functions in the coming year.
