Mental health myth VS fact!
There are many factors that can help to protect people from poor mental health and the development of mental health conditions. These factors can include:
- strengthening social and emotional skills
- seeking help early on
- working on supportive and loving close relationships
- supportive work or school environments
- healthy sleeping patterns
These are all protective factors that can help stop the decline of people's mental health. To put these protective factors in place, we need to work as a community, locally and at large; workplaces, schools, families, friends, our council and many more.
Not every mental health issue or diagnosis can be prevented, but a lot can be done to reduce the decline of so many people's mental health. This is why we do the work we do. We are working to be a protective part of our community - a community that can protect people's wellbeing.
