The Parent Network Community Forum The Parent Network ensures that parents throughout Caerphilly County Borough have their say on decisions that effect them and their families.

Parents can have a say in local planning groups and help shape local service and policies for families, children and young people. Parents also have the opportunity to meet for support and a chat at regular get-togethers to share experience and information. The Parent Network also provides a way for professionals to find out what parents really think and what issues are important to them.

We’ve been extremely busy this week at The Parent Network! 💛

From getting creative with crafts and decorating thermal cups, to our child and infant first aid awareness course, to our regular groups, it’s been another week full of learning, laughter, and community spirit. ☕🎨👶

We’re also excited to share updates on our food waste bag collection point, upcoming beach trip plans, and our growing range of groups and activities for families.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone today from 12pm–2pm at St James ICC, Mornington Meadows, Caerphilly.

This session will cover:
• Managing an incident
• Primary survey & child/infant CPR
• Treating an unresponsive casualty
• Choking

Come along to our relaxed parent and baby session — a welcoming space to chat, meet other families, and let little ones play and explore together.

Self-service baby weighing scales will be available for parents wishing to record their baby’s weight. Please note this is not a health or clinical service, and weights are for personal recording only.

This is a great opportunity to:✨ Meet other parents and carers✨ Build your support network✨ Discover local groups, services, and activities✨ Enjoy a tea or coffee while babies play in a relaxed environment
