Transition Worcester

Transition Worcester Community Action for a Sustainable City. We run a range of green, community, volunteer-run projects in Worcester, helping to reduce carbon emissions and waste.

Projects include a repair cafe, community garden, food rescue scheme and lots more. A Transition Town movement all about getting Worcester resilient to the ravages of the future. It's totally inclusive of every political persuasion, you just have to live or work in the Worcester area.

Our next Worcester Climate Cafe is this coming Saturday - see poster below for details.

Our cafe is a safe and friendly environment where we discuss our feelings and emotions about the climate, environment and wider inter-related crises. Talking through our feelings helps us to be resilient and regain some agency.

As we move into the fifth heatwave of our UK summer, and temperatures continue to be broken around the world, an increasing number of climate articles are using terms like 'collapse' and 'passing tipping points'. This month, our cafe is a chance to share how we feel as we watch this, how we cope, and anything it prompts us to do - and anything else on your mind that you want to share.

Everybody over 18 - newcomers and old friends - is welcome. You don't need to be an activist or a campaigner, just a concerned citizen. See our 'About' page for more information on how the Cafe works.
Come and join us, grab some refreshment (self pay) and join the sharing
