A unique, atmospheric charity dinner event, took place on almost the last dark evening of 2015 before the clocks went forward for Spring at The Bank House Hotel, Worcester. The Secret Elephant was the elephant in the room, the things that people feel they can’t talk about - and he was portrayed through excellent theatrics performed by University of Worcester drama students. Onside Advocacy is a Worcestershire based charity which supports people disadvantaged by disability, mental ill-health, learning difficulties and age-related health issues. It makes a difference to the lives of approximately three thousand individuals every year, through its dedicated team of experienced staff and volunteers who are recruited, trained and supported to work as advocates, mentors and appropriate adults.
