🌼 What a busy day we’ve had at Spencer Court! 🌼

We spent the day painting pebbles and drawing wildlife to add to our Friendship Garden, followed by a delicious ice cream from our treat trolley. 🍦🎨🐞

Then it was off to the garden to water the plants and help keep everything looking beautiful. 🌻🌿

There’s never a dull moment at Spencer Court! 😊💚

🎉💖 A huge thank you from everyone at Spencer Court! 💖🎉

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated prizes, ran stalls, baked cakes, helped on the day and came along to support our Summer Fete.

You all helped make the afternoon so special, and thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £63 for Sobell House Hospice.

A special thank you also goes to Kev Reed for keeping us entertained with fantastic tunes throughout the event. 🎶

We truly appreciate everyone who contributed and helped make the day such a lovely success! 💙

As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a very special thank you to Chris for 5 wonderful years of volunteering at Spencer Court.

Chris, your kindness, patience, and dedication have touched the lives of so many of our residents. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and you always give your time so generously, bringing smiles, laughter, and companionship to those around you.

Over the past five years, you have become such an important part of the Spencer Court family. The care and compassion you show every day do not go unnoticed, and the difference you make means more than words can express.

From all of us, thank you for your unwavering support, your friendship, and for always going the extra mile. We are so lucky to have you, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Happy 5-year volunteering anniversary, Chris, and thank you for helping make Spencer Court such a special place. 💙

Today we had the privilege of presenting Sarah Parsons with her 30 Year Achievement Award — a truly special moment for everyone at Spencer Court.

For three decades, Sarah has dedicated herself to caring for others with kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment. As a carer, and treasured member of our Spencer Court family, she has touched the lives of so many residents, families, and colleagues in ways that words could never fully express.

Sarah, thank you for the love, comfort, laughter, and support you have given over the years. The difference you have made to so many lives is remarkable, and we are beyond grateful to have you as part of our family.

You are a truly amazing lady, with a wonderful sense of humour 🥰and today we celebrate not only your incredible achievement, but the wonderful person you are. Here’s to many more years of making memories and changing lives. ❤️💐

A big thank you to the wonderful Eynsham Ukulele Group for coming along to entertain our amazing Spencer Court residents! 🎶💛

The room was filled with laughter, fun, singing, and fantastic musical talent from start to finish. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and everyone enjoying the music together. 😊🎵

Thank you for bringing such joy and happiness to Spencer Court — we loved every minute and can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🌟

A huge shoutout to our lovely Spencer Court resident Sheila, who truly saved the day! 💖

When our amazing manager Angela had a little wardrobe malfunction, Sheila stepped in without hesitation and came to the rescue with kindness, care, and plenty of laughter too! 🌟

It’s moments like these that show what a wonderful community we have here at Spencer Court — residents always looking out for one another and bringing smiles to the day. 😊

Thank you Sheila for being an absolute star ⭐ and thank you Angela for taking it all in such good humour! 💕

Residents at Spencer Court had lots of fun getting creative for Dementia Action Week 💙

Everyone enjoyed baking homemade shortbread and decorating them with lovely forget-me-nots, the symbol of dementia awareness and remembrance.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and tasty treats along the way! 🍪✨ A wonderful activity to raise awareness, spend time together, and make special memories.
