🎉 The countdown is almost over… Carnival is nearly here! 🎪

Tomorrow is the 78th Eynsham Carnival, and we have one important update before the big day!

📅 We’ve updated our field entertainment timetable! Take a look at the revised schedule to see when your favourite acts will be performing, so you don’t miss a thing. From Sol Samba and the Reading Pipe Band to Rope Wars, Stilt Walkers, Line Dancing, the Bubble Wizard, and the Roping Radicals, there’s something happening throughout the afternoon! 🎭🎶

If you have a question, need directions, have lost something, or simply aren’t sure where to go, keep an eye out for our volunteers wearing blue Eynsham Carnival Committee shirts with “Eynsham Carnival Committee” printed on the back. They’ll be happy to help make your day as enjoyable as possible.

Meet the Team Behind Eynsham Carnival! 🎪

Have you ever wondered who makes Eynsham Carnival happen each year?

Behind every parade, performance, stall, and smile is a dedicated team of local volunteers who spend months planning one of Eynsham’s biggest community events. From organising entertainment and sponsors to coordinating vendors, logistics, fundraising, and everything in between, this committee works to bring Carnival Day to life!

Could you be part of next year’s committee?

We’re always looking for new members to help organise future Carnivals. The role is completely flexible, there’s plenty of guidance and support from existing committee members, and it’s a fantastic way to meet new people while giving back to the community.

🚧🎪 CARNIVAL DAY ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING INFO 🎪🚧

Please note that under licence, some central roads in Eynsham will be closed between 11:30am and 1:30pm on Carnival Day. For the enjoyment of all, please respect these road closures — there is a substantial fine for infringements.

If you normally park along the parade route or the diverted bus route (Spareacre Lane), we kindly ask that you park elsewhere prior to and for the duration of the Carnival.

If you need to park near the Carnival, you can use the Siemens car park next to the Talbot Inn (OX29 4BT), which is very close to the Carnival field. There is also a separate, signposted disabled car park opposite the Carnival Field in Oxford Road.

Please also note that Carnival Royalty will need parking from 1:30am, so please be respectful of carnival needs.
