Results day is tomorrow for a lot of young people, and it's a big one. This generation has carried a lot: lockdown at exactly the wrong point in their education, a mental health crisis nobody built enough support for, endless testing, and a level of pressure most of us never faced at their age.

Our founder Nina Lemon - Playwright has written about why results don't define anyone, and why theatre can offer young people something an exam never will.

We've also opened one final audition for our free, full-time Peer Actor Development programme, for 18 to 25 year olds who might want September to look a bit different. No tuition fees, no student loan, just training, touring, and a real qualification.

Peer Productions is moving — twice! 🎭

From September 2026, we're heading to a new interim home at Lockwood Studios in Guildford, as we continue working towards our permanent base at Henry Plaza in Woking town centre.

We have to leave our current building by September, after its sale to a new owner converting it into a gym. Since then, we've been searching for the right bridge to our forever home - and we've found it.

Lockwood Studios is a thriving arts centre built around inclusion — originally created to support adults with learning disabilities, with a community garden, on-site café, and a real creative buzz from resident artists, creative businesses, and Kane FM. It gives us more performance space than ever, plus dedicated rooms for our different programmes. We are so grateful to Lockwood Studios for providing us with an interim home.

Meanwhile, our plans for Henry Plaza - a permanent home designed with our young people, with a secure 25-year lease -keep moving forward. We've now raised £1,047,000 towards our £1,547,000 target, and we're optimistic about achieving our target.

Two moves, one mission: a secure, purpose-built future for the young people we work with. 💜

We're delighted to announce that, from September 2026, we will be moving to a new interim home at Lockwood Studios in Guildford, as we continue to work towards our permanent new base at Henry Plaza in Woking town centre.

Yesterday we celebrated the brilliance that is Suzanne Parke as she prepares to retire as Leader of Learning (PAD) after six glorious years. Suzanne will be remaining with team Peer as Associate Practitioner whilst she researches her PhD at Guildford School of Acting.
