🧥🍂 Coatober Final Push! 🍂🧥

As the colder weather sets in, we’re making one final push for donations for our Coatober appeal.

We’re especially in need of the following sizes:
🧥 Men’s coats: Small & Medium
🧥 Women’s coats: Large & Extra Large

If you have any coats in these sizes that you no longer need, please consider donating them. Your generosity can help keep someone warm this autumn and winter. 🧡

How do donate:

Where: You’ll find us at The Lighthouse Woking, Unit 4 Church Path, Woking, GU21 6EL (upstairs)

This week at The Lighthouse Aldershot, we welcomed Rachel from Rushmoor Healthy Living for a really interesting and helpful talk about staying fit, active, and healthy as we get older.

There was lots of enthusiasm for an exercise class at The Lighthouse, and we’re hoping to get one up and running in the new year!

It’s wonderful to see our community coming together to learn, stay active, and support one another.

Another full house at Men Matter at The Lighthouse Guildford this week🍲

By creating a welcoming space to connect over a warm cooked meal, share experiences, and spend time together, we reduce social isolation, encourage new friendships, and help men feel more connected to their community.

📅When: Every Tuesday evening, 6.30pm-8pm (term time only)
📍Where: The Lighthouse Guildford, 191 High Street, Guildford, GU1 3AW

Sign-ups help us know how many meals to prepare, but drop-ins are always welcome.

Autumn has arrived at Style Studio!🍂

This week at The Lighthouse Woking, Style Studio has been busy with the seasonal changeover, bringing in cosy layers, winter essentials, and plenty of clothing items ready for the colder months ahead.

Creativity, conversation, and a little time to get absorbed in the moment🎨💛

At The Lighthouse Aldershot’s Craft Cafe, the group explored the work of artist Yayoi Kusama, reflecting on her incredible contribution to the art world, before creating their own interpretations of a favourite piece.

There was plenty of reminiscing and conversation along the way, as everyone enjoyed the simple joy of being creative together and getting mindfully lost in their artwork✨

Big smiles all round!🚲💛

A huge thank you to Freya and Gill from Surrey Bike Project for providing bikes that bring so much more than just a way to get around. From travel and fitness, to fun and family moments, this donation has made a real difference. One guest even got to surprise his daughter with a bike of her own!

Thank you Bike Project Surrey for making moments like these possible✨
