Do you or someone you know have some spare time to become a volunteer driver with us?
Our service was established 20 years ago to help with things such as:
* Transport to Doctors, Dentists and Hospital Appointments
* Help with Shopping
* Visits to Hairdressers
* Visits to Friends
We help people to stay active and independent. We aim to bridge the gaps in existing services, NOT to replace them.
WE NEED:
* Volunteer Drivers with their own transport (fuel expenses reimbursed)
Being a St John's Care Volunteer is flexible, easy and enjoyable. There is no regular commitment necessary, all our volunteers have the flexibility to accept a job only if they are available for that particular time.
Our volunteers are from a wide range of backgrounds and we cover the areas of St Johns, Hermitage, Hook Heath and Brookwood.
