☕ 3-MONTH SUPPORTED WORK PLACEMENT ☕

We delighted to share that we will be offering 12-week voluntary supported work placements, from The Coliseum Community Café, for young people who want to build confidence, learn new skills and gain real workplace experience in a friendly, inclusive community setting ☕🍰

Over 3 months, participants can develop:

🍳 Café & food preparation skills
☕ Making hot drinks
🧼 Hygiene & cleaning
💷 Till & customer service skills
🤝 Teamwork & communication
⏰ Timekeeping & workplace routines
💪 Confidence, independence & resilience

🎓 Opportunities to work towards certificates including Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Allergen Awareness and Basic First Aid.

There’s no pressure to rush... placements are tailored around individual strengths, interests and support needs, with weekly goals to help each person progress at their own pace.

At the end, we’ll look together at what comes next. This could be further training, volunteering, employment or another positive step forward.

💛 A New Partnership, Built on Understanding 💛

We’re incredibly proud to announce a new collaboration with SENdyno 🦖

SENdyno is a clothing brand created around a simple but powerful idea: neurodivergent people shouldn’t have to constantly explain themselves to be understood.

Their clothing is designed to help communicate needs, celebrate identity and create moments of understanding without requiring another conversation — while keeping comfort at the heart of everything they do.

And now, they’re taking their commitment to the neurodivergent community one step further.

SENdyno have committed to donating 1% of their revenue from every order to SENDure CIC. Not profit. Revenue. From every order.

That means every time someone chooses SENdyno, they’re also helping support children, young people and families within our SEND community, right here in Whitby and across the surrounding area.

What makes this partnership particularly special to us is that SENdyno chose to support a young, grassroots, local organisation, recognising that meaningful change often starts small and close to home.

This isn’t just a donation. It’s a shared belief that understanding, inclusion and support can make a genuine difference.

From everyone at SENDure, thank you, SENdyno, for believing in what we’re building, for standing alongside our community and for making a commitment that will make meaningful impact here in our very own community.

We’re incredibly excited to see where this partnership takes us 🤝

Different approaches. Same purpose. Creating a little more understanding for those who need it most 💚💛
