Dandelion buds can be harvested in early spring and pickled into tangy homemade capers, turning a common backyard w**d into a surprisingly tasty pantry treat 🌼

🚜 Help Needed – Muck Removal at Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary 🦊

Our muck heap has grown beyond its designated area, and we urgently need someone with the equipment and capacity to remove a large volume of muck from the site.

We’ve struggled to find any local farmers who can assist on a regular basis. While allotments are very welcome to take some, the scale is too large for occasional bags here and there — and we need a more substantial solution.

Ideally, we’re hoping to find someone who can help on a semi-regular basis, perhaps monthly or as needed, to keep things under control.

If you (or someone you know) can help with muck collection or removal, please get in touch!
We’d be incredibly grateful for any assistance. This is a service we are happy to pay for!
