A friendly photographic club that meets Wednesdays at 8pm from September-April at Whaley Bowling Club

Wednesday 9th September is the first night of the new season. A perfect opportunity to come along and see what the club is all about, as we’ll be giving a preview of what’s coming up. We’ll also be presenting prizes to the winners of the 2026 Buxton Photo Challenge and enjoying their photos. Oh and it’s free entry too!

Calling all photographers, it’s time to celebrate the power of print!

The UK Photography Print Awards, sponsored by Epson, are now open for entries and all photographers are welcome, including students and apprentices.

Enter with a digital submission before 21 December 2025, and you could be selected to submit a print for the live judging event, with winners announced at a Gala Dinner.

This Wednesday (26th Nov), we are very excited to be hosting Dr Anthony Holloway from Jodrell Bank. If you've ever fancied trying astrophotography or are wondering how to photograph the Aurora, come and join us. £4 for non-members.

If you're thinking of becoming a member of High Peak Photography Club, now is a good time to start. If you join before 24th September then you'll be able to enter our first club competition of the season.

Our annual membership is £35 with a door fee of £2, instead of £4 for visitors. For more details, head over to our website.

Thanks to everyone that attended our first club night of the season. We hope you enjoyed seeing the Buxton Photo Challenge images, hearing about the upcoming programme of talks and seeing photos from some of our members.
