We have spaces on our Funded swimming programme at New Mills Leisure Centre on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
This is for children aged 6+ who are non swimmers. Parents do not need to get in the pool as there is an extra instructor in the pool for these classes.

๐ŸŽ‰ TRANSITION WEEKS ARE COMING TO YOUTH MATTERS! ๐ŸŽ‰

Starting a new school is a huge milestone for children and young people. Whether it's taking those first steps into Reception or making the move from Primary School to Secondary School, it can bring a mixture of excitement, nerves and uncertainty.

To help make that transition a little easier, we're opening our doors during the first 3 Fridays in July and inviting children who will be starting Reception or Secondary School in September to come along and join our regular youth club sessions.

These won't be separate transition groups. Instead, children and young people will have the opportunity to join our existing youth clubs, meet current members, make new friends and become familiar with the youth centre before the summer holidays.

We know that walking into a new environment can feel daunting, which is why additional staff and volunteers will be attending throughout the sessions to help children settle in, make introductions, join activities and feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
