The Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, Mr Mohammed Saddiq : Met at Wells Cathedral with Arnold Wills, Chair of The Friends of Wells Cathedral yesterday, to talk about the Cathedral Organ which has gone off to Harrison and Harrison Organ Builders in Durham and should return restored and improved early 2028.

🕯 A reminder that today we hold a special Evensong in thanksgiving for the life of Dr Anthony Crossland.

This evening’s service gives thanks for Anthony’s remarkable musical legacy and many years of dedication. He served as Assistant Organist between 1961 and 1971, before becoming Organist and Master of the Choristers from 1971 until his retirement in 1996. His contribution to the musical life and ministry here shaped generations of choristers and worship.
