Beyond Horizons, Sculpture at Stoberry Park

We were delighted to be invited to be part of this fantastic event, with a proportion of ticket sales supporting the Wells Cathedral School Foundation and our work to provide bursaries, helping to open the door to an outstanding Wells Cathedral School education for more young people.

It was brilliant to see such a wonderful mix of people enjoying the sculptures - from visitors who had travelled from far and wide, to current and former Wells Cathedral School parents, Friends of Music supporters, local families and members of the wider community. There was a real sense of people coming together to enjoy art, creativity and the beautiful setting.

A huge thank you to the team at Stoberry for including us, and to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success. And, of course, a special thank you to our brilliant pupils, who dazzled everyone with their performances and creativity in the afternoon. 🎶🎭

It was a wonderfully creative experience and a lovely reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped us share in the important work of the Foundation - supporting the next generation and helping more talented young people access the opportunities of a Wells education.

The Exhibition is running through until 4th October with many more charities getting the opportunity to raise funds.

Thank you, Stoberry, and thank you to everyone who joined us! 💙

🌞 The sunshine is arriving just in time! This is set to be a wonderful event and we are so grateful that a portion of the ticket sales tomorrow (Saturday 5th September) will be given to the Wells Cathedral School Foundation and be put straight towards our Bursary fund. We will have pupil musicians and dancers giving performances during the afternoon to entertain guests while they admire the sculptures and beautiful gardens. Please see the link below to get your tickets!

We're delighted to share that the Wells Cathedral School Foundation has been chosen as the host charity for the opening day of the Beyond Horizons Sculpture Exhibition at the beautiful Stoberry Park Gardens on Saturday 5th September.

It is a privilege to be part of what promises to be a wonderful celebration of art, creativity and community in such a spectacular setting.

Throughout the day, Trustees of the Foundation and team will be there to welcome visitors and share more about how we are raising funds to provide transformational bursaries, helping talented young people access a Wells Cathedral School education regardless of their financial circumstances.

We're also looking forward to showcasing some of the incredible musical talent with several pupils performing during the day.

If you're looking for a day out or an excuse to visit Wells, we'd love to see you there.

A Quilter Fund bursary opens the door to a Wells Cathedral School education for talented pupils who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity. From musicians to mathematicians, scientists to artists, 1 in 6 pupils now benefit from bursary support, with awards ranging from 5–100%. Whatever their passion, every child deserves the chance to ‘be what they are’.
