Day #6 ✅

And a stone’s throw from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿! Longest ride so far (again)with amazing views over the lake district! Massive climb of 8 miles up over Shap Hill... nearly finished me off! The last 35 miles after lunch were hellish- so tired! But at least it didn't rain today 👍

Day #4 Completed!

Today had its challenges- Chris’ 19th puncture… but it also had its highlights- the beautiful Shropshire Hills for one!
Thanks also to the Steddys who rode along today and the Jeffersons who cheered at the side of the road (even though we didn’t see you at the time!)- morale officially boosted!

Day #3 was wet… but is done!

Easier cycling today across the Somerset levels but awful conditions! We got absolutely soaked and very cold this morning but thanks to the support bus, we could all change into dry gear at lunch ☺️
It was also awesome having a couple of friends join us for the day- cheers Matt and Andy!
And thanks too to Sam- one of the Sarcoma UK nurses- who joined my wife cheering us on at the side of the road! Thanks for all your support! (No photos as they were too busy cheering!)
