A beautiful act of kindness from Poppy Patch 💙

We’re so grateful to Poppy Patch, who wanted to create something special for families accessing our Daylight Centre Foodbank by making these beautiful handmade quilts.

Each quilt represents so much time, care and thought, and we’re sure they’ll bring warmth, comfort and a little extra joy to the families who receive them.

It’s gestures like this that remind us how much our community cares about one another.

Every act of kindness makes a difference, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who gives their time, skills and creativity to support others.

We were delighted to be invited to Park Junior School, Wellingborough Harvest Festival assembly, and what a wonderful occasion it was! 🥰

The generosity of the children and their families was truly incredible, collecting an amazing 516kg of donations to support our work at the Daylight Centre Foodbank! 🥫🥔🥕

Every single donation makes a real difference, helping us support local people and families experiencing hardship in our community.

A huge THANK YOU to all the children, parents and staff at Park Junior School for your kindness and generosity.

You’ve shown just how much we can achieve when our community comes together.

🎄 Wreath Making Workshop 🎄

Get creative, get cosy and make something beautiful for your door this winter!

Join us at Daylight Veggie Patch on Saturday 28th November for a relaxed afternoon of wreath making.

You’ll have everything you need to create your own Christmas wreath to take home - no experience necessary.

Your £15 ticket includes:

☕ Hot chocolate, tea and coffee

Our next Wraparound Sessions are fast approaching!

📍 Daylight Centre, 10 High Street Place, Wellingborough
📅 Thursday 29th October
🕐 10am - 12 noon

The Mobile Healthcare Unit will also be in attendance at the October session and provides a convenient way for people to check whether they are up to date with their vaccinations and receive appropriate vaccines without having to arrange a traditional appointment.

The service can offer vaccinations including COVID-19, RSV, shingles, MMR and whooping cough vaccines, depending on a person's age, health circumstances and clinical eligibility.

Healthcare professionals can check vaccination histories, identify vaccines that may be due, provide advice based on individual circumstances and safely administer eligible vaccinations on site.

No need to book, just pop along on the day to meet with the team.
