Wellingborough.and.District U3a The u3a is an International organisation for those no longer in full time work, run by members for members with the ethos of learning for pleasure.

Wellingborough u3a has nearly 500 members meeting regularly in interest groups to learn, laugh, live. Wellingborough and District U3A is a friendly, welcoming and thriving group for people who are no longer in full time employment and who still have a zest for life and enjoy learning new things, developing and sharing skills and finding new interests. We have dozens of interest groups run by our m

embers, covering an amazing range of subjects so you are sure to find something of interest - and if not, you can start a group of your own. you don't have to be an expert in the subject you chose. And then, once a month, we all get together to catch up with the latest members' news, meet old friends and make new ones over a cup of tea or coffee and listen to a talk from our invited speaker. Throughout Covid, we have kept in touch with our members by issuing our newsletter, 'In Touch' monthly. This has proved so successful, that we will continue with a monthly issue when things get back to the new normal. To keep costs down we send this where we can to members who have email, but we don't forget those who don't have internet access and print off a number of copies for them

Andrew Shelden is one of the UK's longest established independent digital forensic consultants and a leading authority in the design of digital forensic solutions and innovations. He was the course designer and lecturer for the 'Internet Investigations' module on Forensic Computing at Cranfield University.
Today he gives us an insight into the challenging, unpredictable & rewarding world of a digital forensic investigator, with a number of fascinating case stories from his career.

Learn, Laugh, Live is the motto of the u3a and Wellingborough u3a is where you'll find like minded people continuing their creative, educational and social interests in a friendly atmosphere. We have nearly 70 interest groups covering every subject from art to Social history as well as active groups offering badminton to walking.
If you are retired or no longer in full time employment, come along to one of our monthly members meetings on the first Wednesday of the month and see for yourself.
