It's easy to underestimate the impact of small acts of kindness. A smile. A word of encouragement. A text message. A moment of patience. A listening ear. What feels ordinary to you may be something someone remembers for years. πŸ’Ÿ

Scripture reminds us to love one another, bear one another's burdens, and encourage one another daily. Often, we don't get to see the full impact of those moments. We simply trust that God can use even the smallest acts of compassion to bring light into someone's day.

So be generous with kindness. Be quick to encourage. Be willing to show up. You never know how God may use a simple act of love to remind someone that they are seen, valued, and not alone. If you'd like more encouragement throughout the week, along with free weekly devotionals and worship playlists designed to help you stay grounded in God's presence, you can find them through the link in our bio.

Take a look below to know how to recognise a drink that's been spiked. Team Castle are out tonight and Team Samphire are around town tomorrow night if you need our help at all.

Prayer for Iran

God of Peace,

We hold the people of Iran in this time of deep distress.
Where there is fear – grant Your peace.
Where there is violence – bring Your protection.
Where hearts are hurting – pour out Your comfort.

Loving God, we pray especially for those mourning the loss of loved ones,
for those who are injured, imprisoned, or afraid,
and for those seeking justice, freedom, and dignity.
Surround them with Your love.

We pray for leaders and those in authority –
grant wisdom, restraint, and compassion.
Turn the hearts of those with power toward healing,
not harm; toward reconciliation and peace

In our prayers, we remember our sisters and brothers
who worship with us in our churches here in Britain
We thank you, God, for the blessing they bring to our church communities.

God of mercy, we ask for Your Spirit to move in Iran –
to bring peace, hope, and a future of justice.
May Your love be known by every person affected by these events.

Amen.
