At Margaret Green Animal Rescue we take in pets that have become homeless due to a change in circumstances, or that have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned. Regardless of their circumstance, each pet will find a warm bed, a kind team and all the love and respect they deserve awaiting them at Margaret Green Animal Rescue. As well as veterinary care, pets are prepared and rehabilitated ready for a new home. Most of our animals are vaccinated, micro chipped, treated against worms and fleas and neutered before going to their new home. Finding forever homes is at the very heart of what we do and there is no better feeling than knowing we have found the perfect match. Our rehoming process is designed specifically to help potential owners adopt a pet that fits in perfectly with their lives and loved ones.

Gary's search continues... 🏡

This handsome, 1-year-old Bengal is a total sweetheart who adores attention and has plenty of love to give!

Gary is looking for a loving home where he will be the only pet, and we feel he could possibly live with children aged 10 and over 💕

A home in a quiet location away from busy roads would also be the best fit for him, so he can explore the great outdoors when he's ready.

Could you be the forever family this gorgeous boy is dreaming of? 💭

Check out the link in the comments to find out more about Gary and submit an application!

Could you be the one to give Lexi the second chance she's longing for? 🥹

This gorgeous girl is a 5-year-old Akita cross who is ready and waiting to start her next chapter in her forever home.

As you'll see here, Lexi is a fun and loving soul who quickly makes friends with everyone she meets, and we just know that she'll bring so much joy to her new family.

She's a playful character who enjoys a good squeaky toy, and she loves to run around the fields here and play with her fellow canine companions 🐶

Please head to the link below to learn more about Lexi, and share this video to help us unite her with her new owners.

We know her special someone is out there somewhere, and she can't wait to meet them! 💚

We would like to say a big 'thank you' to the team from NatWest Poole for donating and volunteering their time to lay new turf and tunnels for our rescue rabbits!

As you can see, our bunnies are already having fun exploring the tunnels and relaxing on their freshly laid grass 🐰

We are so grateful to the NatWest Poole team for getting stuck in to help us, and for donating the funds for us to purchase the new turf.

If you'd like to meet our rescue rabbits who are looking for new homes, please visit the link in the comments 👇

Meet Rosa 🐈‍⬛

Rosa is a sweet girl who is around 1 year old and arrived into our care heavily pregnant.

Her little ones have now flown the nest, so it's time for her to find a forever home where she can put her paws up and relax 🥰

Rosa is a sensitive soul who has taken time to settle in here, so she's looking for patient owners who will give her time to adjust to her new home and surroundings.

Once she feels comfortable, Rosa's sweet nature begins to blossom and she enjoys fuss and attention on her terms 🥲

If you could offer her a quiet home with an adult family and no other pets, then she may be just the companion you've been searching for.

Please head to the link in the comments to find out more and register your interest in Rosa 🐾

Do you have a dog crate that you no longer need? 🐶

Our Lincoln Farm centre in Dorset is currently looking for medium-sized dog crates to help the rescue dogs in our care.

Crates can be very useful when our dogs are transitioning into foster homes, giving them a calm, comfortable space of their own while they settle into their new surroundings 🤗

If you have a medium-sized crate that you no longer need, whether it’s new or pre-loved, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could donate this to us.

Please drop your donations into our Lincoln Farm centre any day between 8am and 3:30pm 📍

Have a question? Please contact our Lincoln Farm team using the details in the link below.

Please share this post to help us spread the word and provide more rescue dogs with the comfort and security they need - thank you! 💚

Say 'hello' to Delilah 🐶

Delilah is a cheeky, 9-week-old crossbreed who's looking for her forever family.

As she's likely to weigh 30kg+ once fully grown, she would love to find owners who've had large breed dogs previously 🐾

It will also be important for her to attend training classes and continue her socialisation, so she can flourish into a well-adjusted adult dog.

We feel that Delilah could live with a male dog, a dog-savvy cat and possibly children over the age of 10, who are used to big, bouncy dogs.

If you could give this sweetheart a loving home where she can thrive and learn about the big wide world, then we'd love to hear from you 🥰

Please head to the link in the comments to get to know Delilah and submit an application.
