🚧 Road Closure Notice - Church Road, Benson 🚧

Please be aware that Church Road, Benson will be closed from 7 to 17 September 2026 while foul connection works are carried out. Details are as follows:

📅 Closure starts: 7 September 2026
📅 Expected completion: 17 September 2026
🕙 Closure time each day 09:30 - 15:30
🚧 Location: Church Road, Benson
🏗️ Contractor: SCS Oxon Ltd

✅ Access will be maintained for emergency services and, where reasonably practicable, for properties within the closed section of the road.

➡️ Signed diversion route: Church Street, A4074 and B4009 (and vice versa).

🚌 Changes to Bus Service 33 🚌
From 20 September, there will be some minor changes to the daytime weekday Service 33 timetable.
✅ Good news! The route has been amended and a Sunday service will now operate via Benson and RAF Benson.

🛝 Play Park Closure Notice 🛠️
Please note that Cala have informed us that the Gerards Avenue Play Park, Hopefield Grange, will be temporarily closed from 7 September for approximately 4 weeks.
A recent inspection identified the need for remedial works, as sections of the safety surface have lifted and areas of the grass require re-seeding to ensure the play area remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Thanks for your patience while Cala carries out these essential works.

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – Sunnyside, Benson.

Sunnyside will be closed from 15–19 September 2026 while Thames Water carries out a new connection.

🚗 Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained where possible.

🔄 Diversion via Littleworth Road, Watlington Road and Hale Road.
