Rio isn’t simply a name on a fundraising page, he is one of our wonderful young people and part of our Yate Youth family.
Following a terrible accident, Rio required emergency, life-saving brain surgery and remains extremely unwell. His family do not yet know what his recovery will look like or how much ongoing support he may need. They are currently unable to work while they remain by his side and face an incredibly uncertain road ahead.
We want them to be able to focus entirely on Rio without the added worry of financial pressure. Any donation, however small, would be deeply appreciated, but our biggest request is simply that you share this appeal as far and wide as possible.
One share could help it reach the person who can make a real difference. Please share it with your friends, family, community groups and wider networks so we can surround Rio and his family with the support they deserve.
Rio’s mum is aware that we are sharing the appeal and is incredibly thankful for everyone’s support. 💙
