We encourage art in Wallingford and the surrounding villages. The purpose of the club is to encourage art in Wallingford and the surrounding villages.

We run art classes, demonstrations, workshops, untutored painting evenings, outings and exhibitions. The club meets in Centre 70, Wallingford every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. You bring your own work and materials. Tea and coffee is provided and there is no attendance fee for members. On the third Tuesday of each month there is a demonstration by a professional artist, during which they

will talk and outline their skills and techniques. There is no cost to members, £5 fee for visitors. We run tutored workshops on certain Saturdays, tutored art classes on Tuesdays from 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm to 4.30pm. We use all mediums and the tutor helps you with your own drawing/painting. Charges apply. We run outings, "plein air" painting days and visits to galleries. We also hold two exhibitions a year for members. Why not join us as a potential member or just as a visitor? On 21 April from 19.30 to 21.30, Wallingford & District Art Club will be welcoming Jennie Whaley, a mixed media artist who will demo painting a wildlife scene. Her early life was in Zimbabwe where shortages of art materials meant she had to improvise, focussing on natural flora and fauna. This led to her lively, vibrant work. Join us at Centre 70 in Wallingford to see how she achieves her colourful paintings. Entrance free to members and non-member visitors’ entrance fee is £10. www.wallingfordartclub.org.uk

Visit our stand at The Wallingford Christmas Fayre on Sunday 7th December from 10.00am-5.00pm. We'll have affordable, original artworks for sale (perfect for presents), plus limited edition prints and handmade coasters. Also drop by to enquire about our classes, monthly demos and other club activities.

We're excited to have a stall at Warborough festival on Saturday 21 June. The festival is on all weekend but visit us on the green from noon to 4pm on Saturday for affordable, original art, plus beautiful prints and art cards. Prices start from only £3!
