2. Vivaldi’s Gloria (+) on Saturday 18 July, 7.30 pm at St Mary’s Church in Cholsey - part of Cholsey's music festival.

Monday 8th December will be the end of South Oxfordshire Choir's autumn term and we'll celebrating the close of what has been a special anniversary year with a drink and some nibbles in St. Mary's Church (Members don't forget the snacks!).

We begin rehearsals once again on Monday 12th January - when all newcomers are welcome (8pm St. Mary's Church, Wallingford) and when we'll be starting afresh rehearsing Dyson's 'Hierusalem' and some other pieces.

But for this coming Monday (8th), we're going to be brushing up our carol singing, ready for entertaining the Christmas Market shoppers in the church on the morning of Saturday 13th December.

Just a heads up that South Oxfordshire Choir’s new term starts on Monday 8th September at 8pm at St. Mary’s Church in Wallingford. We’d love to see some new faces there. Newcomers can just turn up on the night and they’ll be given three free rehearsals.
This term, we’re going to be learning to sing Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai, which is considered a very singable mass. It's not overly complex, with well-defined phrases making it accessible for choirs. The performance date is set for Saturday 22nd November.
