Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth, gyda’n gilydd

Cyn y Bythefnos Gofal Maeth, fe wnaethom ymestyn allan i ddwy ysgol leol wych gyda syniad syml – i’n helpu i blannu hadau ymwybyddiaeth am faethu.

Diolch i gyfraniad hael blodau hardd o Ganolfan Arddio y Fenni, gallodd disgyblion yn Ysgol Gynradd Castle View, Cil-y-coed ac Ysgol Gynradd Cantref, y Fenni dorchi eu llewys a mynd ati i arddio, gan ofalu yn frwdfrydig am y planhigion hyn.

Nawr, wrth i Bythefnos Gofal Maeth ddod i ben, rydym mor falch i rannu’r lluniau hyfryd hyn o’r plant yn dod â’r prosiect hwn yn fyw. Mae eu gwaith caled wedi helpu blodau i dyfu a hefyd helpu i godi ymwybyddiaeth o bwysigrwydd maethu yn ein cymuned.

Growing awareness, together

Before Foster Care Fortnight, we reached out to two wonderful local schools with a simple idea – to help us plant the seeds of awareness about fostering.

Thanks to the generous donation of beautiful flowers from Abergavenny Garden Centre LTD, pupils at Castle View Primary, Caldicot and Cantref Primary, Abergavenny rolled up their sleeves and put their green fingers to work, nurturing these plants with care and enthusiasm.

Now, as Foster Care Fortnight comes to a close, we’re so proud to share these lovely images of the children bringing this project to life. Their hard work has not only helped flowers grow, but also helped raise awareness of the importance of fostering in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for your support, kindness and creativity.
