The two historic villages of Raglan in South Wales and Parcé-sur-Sarthe, Pays de la Loire, France were officially twinned in 2012. Both villages have much in common; they are of similar size, have historic backgrounds and are both located in attractive river valleys. Each has an economy based upon agriculture and the two are easily accessible from one another by car, train and air. The populations

are roughly equivalent and business profiles are similar with equivalent number of shops, schools and businesses in each village.
