Advice and Signposting - Our friendly Administration staff are always at the end of the phone to give advice. If it's something we can't help with, we have a wealth of local knowledge and should be able to signpost you to the appropriate service or organisation. Support to adapt, improve or maintain your home: Our Technical service can project- manage work to your home; we can draw up specifications, obtain quotes, liaise with contractors and inspect work. We can provide details of local contractors from our maintained list if you prefer to organise work yourself. We can help access to grants for minor adaptations to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls. Things like grab rails, additional stair rails, shower seats and steps. Our Caseworkers can assess your need and arrange installation. Our Caseworkers can carry out Welfare benefit checks. Advice on Fire Safety & Carbon Monoxide. A 'Healthy Home Check' - one of our Caseworkers will visit you at home and check your home for any potential hazards. Advice on home energy efficiency. Help to apply for funding for home improvements or adaptations where eligible. Advice on sensory impairment.
